Show HN: Live Demo of GraphRAG with GPT-4o mini Hi HN, Microsoft recently open-sourced the GraphRAG framework, which enables more contextual responses than traditional vector-based RAG, especially for summarization-focused queries on textual data. However, a common critique is the LLM costs for constructing the knowledge graph. With the newly released GPT-4o mini, working with GraphRAG would now be ~30x cheaper. We built a demo with quarterly earning call transcripts from a few S&P 100 companies comparing GraphRAG with GPT-4o, GraphRAG with GPT-4o mini, and Baseline RAG. Chennai Super Kings treated their fans with a remarkable return to Chepauk after they registered a 12-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants in their IPL 2023 match on Monday. Asked to bat first, CSK posted a huge total of 217/7 in 20 overs, with Ruturaj Gaikwad smashing 57 off 31 balls. Show HN: Krixik – Easily sequence small/specialized AI models (pip-installable) Our initial intention was to experiment with a smartbook idea, but we couldn't find a good prototyping tool for small/specialized AI models. That rabbit hole took us through vector databases, through infra for small AI, and finally here. We’re particularly proud of the accessibility/simplicity of our code syntax. Krixik’s model library is limited to eleven model types (modules) and a few dozen models, but we will significantly expand it.
